Gisele Bundchen is the Brazilian beauty born on July 20th, 1980, in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. To be a model was an obvious choice for Gisele Bundchen since all her sisters were aspiring models, too. So it was clear for this 5'11" Brazilian beauty with blue eyes to become a model.
However she got the chance to be a model by luck. While grabbing a Big Mac in a shopping mall, she was seen by a modeling agent who approached her and asked if she had any interest in becoming a model. Despite her father's lack of approval of the career choice, he allowed her to move to Sao Paulo where she entered the Elite Look Modeling Competition, and her career took off.
Gisele has modeled for all the major fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Versace, Valentino and Chloe. She also has appeared on several magazine covers such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar and Rolling Stone.
Gisele is probably best-known as one of the multimillion-dollar models for Victoria's Secret. Gisele Bundchen has now appeared in many lingerie and beauty campaigns for television and print ads, as well as in the famous and controversial Victoria's Secret TV special.
Gisele currently lives in Los Angeles, has an apartment in New York and a beautiful country house in up-state New York.
