Airport lines are long to check in baggage
If you are going to the airport today, expect long lines to check in your baggage. At 9:50 a.m. at Miami International Airport, the lines at the American airlines domestic counter where people check in bags were at least 100 people deep. An airport official said an X-Ray machine was down temporarily at the Gate D area, which was causing the backup.
